INVITED GRADUATE | RACHAEL HORSBURGH

What are we? My work looks into what and who we are from both an emotional and biological standpoint, and how that is portrayed within culture and society today. Focusing recently on how images have been created, manipulated, and have meaning placed upon them, my work discusses the history of female form; how it has changed and what it means to be a woman in today’s society. My work uses mixed media in layers, representing the layers of social culture and history that shapes us subconsciously today.
